Throughout my life I have been drawn to serving others. My professional career was spent in the Juvenile Court social services and criminal justice system. When Paul, my husband of 28 years, and I decided to start a family, I left the workforce to become a full-time mom to our amazing twin boys, who are now 13 years old.

We all face hardships in life, and I am no exception. Through faith and community, I have been able to overcome, and I am grateful everyday for the support that surrounded me when life threw its curveballs.

Men often face greater challenges in finding the support they need, support that has been invaluable to me throughout my life. As a mother of two boys, I feel a deep responsibility to ease that struggle. I believe everyone needs encouragement, support and to feel loved, and I look forward to sharing that with others through DFD.
